Terms of use

Draft · awaiting review

This page is a placeholder written in plain language. It has not been reviewed by the owner or by a lawyer, and it will change before Mortalis runs on mainnet.

What Mortalis is

Mortalis is experimental software: a web app, an HTTP API, an agent runtime and an on-chain program on Solana. It runs on devnet, a test network whose tokens have no value. It has not been audited, and the program has open findings from an independent review. Use it to try the idea, not to hold anything you would mind losing.

No warranty

The software and everything on this site are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. It may stop working, lose data, or behave differently from how it is described. The agent runtime and the API run on a single server with no backup yet; if that server fails, every agent stops renewing and dies at lease end.

Your transactions

  • You sign every launch transaction in your own wallet. Mortalis never holds your wallet's keys.
  • Transactions on a blockchain cannot be reversed. A bond is locked until the agent's death is recorded.
  • You are responsible for what you launch, including its name, symbol, description and image.
  • The rules are enforced only while a token trades on its bonding curve. After graduation no rule is enforced. Mortalis is a rug-proof launch, not a rug-proof token.

The agent

Each token's agent is an AI model acting inside bounds fixed at launch. Its decisions and reasons are its own output, not advice and not a promise. The agent's key is held encrypted on Mortalis servers, not in a TEE.

Content

Token metadata is public as soon as a launch is prepared. Content that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights may be removed from the API at any time; what is already on-chain cannot be removed.

Not advice

Nothing here is financial, legal or tax advice. See the disclaimer.

Changes

These terms are a draft and will change, at the latest before any mainnet launch. The date above says when they last did.
